Opening the Dublin summit, the Taoiseach said We are certainly looking more at the opportunity side than the negative side and announced a government, employer and union forum on AI and work.
Martin conceded some work functions may not survive AI but said We are not necessarily looking at displacement in the public service. He called for AI guided and guarded by human agency and said we will be to the forefront of this one.
